🎟️ How the Game WorksThe Queen of Diamonds is a progressive weekly raffle where the pot grows larger every single week until the winning card is found! Here is how you play:
❓ Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat happens to the non-winning tickets each week?Per standard progressive raffle rules, ticket pools do not carry over. Once the weekly drawing is complete and the card is revealed, all remaining tickets from that week are destroyed. A brand-new ticket drum starts empty every week, so you must purchase new tickets each week to participate!
What happens if I win, but I'm not at the bar?You still win! Just make sure your handwriting is legible on your ticket stub. If we draw your ticket and you aren't there, our volunteers will flip your requested card number. If it is the Queen of Diamonds, we will call you immediately to arrange your payout!
Where does the other 50% of the pot go?The remaining 50% of the proceeds directly supports Miss Gay Missouri America, helping fund our mission across the state.
Who can play?You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase tickets or claim any prize. Valid government-issued photo ID is required to claim the jackpot.

The host venue (PRISM) and its employees act strictly as the host location and have no operational or financial involvement in the management of the raffle or ticket sales.
Eligibility & Claims: Participants must be 21+ to buy tickets or win. If a drawn ticket stub contains illegible handwriting, a missing phone number (if the winner is not present), or an invalid/already-flipped card number, that ticket will be disqualified and a new ticket will be drawn immediately.
Tax & IRS Compliance: All raffle winnings are subject to applicable federal and state tax laws. By participating, winners agree to provide their legal name, address, and Social Security Number for tax reporting purposes prior to prize disbursement.

- Buy Your Tickets: Tickets are $TBA each or X for $TBA. On each ticket stub, write your legal name, your phone number, and the card number (1 through 54) you want uncovered on the locked game board.
- The Weekly Draw: Every [ Day of Week TBA ] at [ Time TBA ] PM, we thoroughly mix the raffle drum and draw one single ticket.
- The Reveal: We check the drawn ticket and flip over the requested card number on the physical board.
- Win the Jackpot:
- If it’s the Queen of Diamonds: The winner takes home 50% of the entire progressive jackpot!
- If it’s ANY OTHER card: The pot rolls over, growing even bigger for next week!
- If it’s the Queen of Diamonds: The winner takes home 50% of the entire progressive jackpot!
- Sales Window: Every [ Day of Week ] from [ e.g., 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM ] at PRISM.
- Ticket Cutoff: Sales promptly close 15 minutes before the drawing.
- Need Not Be Present to Win! If your ticket is pulled and your chosen number reveals the Queen of Diamonds, you win the 50% jackpot whether you are in the room or not. We will contact you via the phone number written on your ticket stub!

- Form W-2G Reporting: Per Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations, any payout of $600 or more that is at least 300 times the cost of the ticket requires the filing of IRS Form W-2G.
- Mandatory Tax Withholding: In accordance with federal and Missouri tax law, net winnings exceeding $5,000 are subject to a mandatory 24% federal income tax withholding and 4% Missouri state income tax withholding. These amounts will be deducted directly from the prize payout and remitted to the respective tax authorities on the winner's behalf.
