Vivian's Voice - February/March 2025: The last one...for now

Wow...it's sinking in. I don't like it lol. It's my last newsletter. It's so bittersweet. A part of me is ready to pass the torch and another part is screaming don't let go. I worked for so long to get to where I am today. I started my female impersonation journey with MGMA and I can honestly say that I am the queen I am today because of it. I have met some of the most amazing people through this system...dear friends that I've had for over a decade. I learned how to speak up and have confidence. Believe in myself. I've polished and perfected my craft into a product that I represented across the state of Missouri this year. I inspired 16 of the states most talented queens to compete in March's mid-month competition and that is something to be proud of.  Did you get your tickets yet?

I'm filled with so much emotion and it's hard to put down in words how I am feeling. I had my last preliminary which was Miss Gay Mid Missouri America and it was great, the promoters did a great job! Congratulations to my last two girls that qualified, your winner, Roxxy Malone and her first alternate, Nadine Darling! Amazing job ladies, you both have so much heart and I love that!

I also had the privilege of having #49 coming all the way to Saint Joe for a visit and we had a blast! She orchestrated a dinner with number #48 Tajma Stetson and drinks after at Tajma's beautiful house and it was so fun! Good food, good drinks and even better people!

I'd like to take this time to say a few thank you's.

• Thank you to my amazing husband for being there for me through my reign, loving and supporting me like no other.
• Thank you to Akasha Royale my big sister for being there every step of the way and guiding me.
• Thank you to Luis Acevedo, my dear friend, for going above and beyond with marketing and his work on the MGMA website. You're a treasure to MGMA!
• Thank you to Emilio Olvera for answering all my questions and being at every single preliminary, I cherish our relationship and appreciate you so much.
• Thank you to the rest of the board members, Jade Sinclair, Tabbi Katt, and Sparkle Iman for all your love and support.
• Thank you to my MGMA forever sisters for helping me through my reign, I hold close all of our special moments throughout my reign.
• Thank you to all of my promoters, without y'all we would be nothing. Great job this season!
• Last but not least, thank you to my peers, my community for supporting my dream and loving me through it.

MY heart is truly full and I look forward to helping #51 with anything she needs. It's been a crazy beautiful ride and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Here we go...best of luck to all my girls.
